I absolutely know that God has been there during the big times of my life, both good & bad - life's joys & trials and most obviously in bringing our family together according to His plan. But this past week, I keep seeing him in the little things....
Like on Saturday morning, when I finally dragged my butt out of the house to go to bible study - the ladies there were wonderful, and a group that I am very comfortable around. AND, we studied the book of Ruth! Okay, Big Guy, I see that this is where I should be :-)
Yesterday morning, we have a two hour delay and morning activities are cancelled. I'm panicked because I have a lady coming over to clean (yes, an obscene luxury, but I am a hopeless housekeeper) and I don't know what I am going to do with the kids & myself and we won't be able to get out in the snow. She calls & has a conflict, can't make it! Big sigh of relief and a relaxing (well, as relaxing as it can be with my crew) & enjoyable morning with three of the most important people in my life. And some great memories & photos to boot! (yesterday's post).
This morning I am getting ready to pack the kids up for a very hectic morning/afternoon of activities at the Y. The speech therapist shows up unexpectedly - means we skip our first activity at the Y, have some down time at home & start the craziness at 11:00, with a much more manageable schedule.
Okay, finally starting to get God's message... Schedule less & enjoy your family more! It's just kind of amazing how He has gotten His point across. And He knows just what it takes to get me to see...

Just had to peek and see for myself; you have a beautiful family!
And I hear you too on this post; sometimes it is important to slow down and just enjoy the moment.....not always feasible...LOL...but always joyful!
Thanks for letting me stop by!

Love it. Simplicity. No need to justify the luxury of a housekeeper. Hoping to hire mine back now that I've got three and I'm up to my ears in laundry alone!
