Four Years Ago Today...

...our lives were blessed with two of the most amazing people in the world. My words cannot express how grateful I am to have the honor of guiding and watching these amazing ladies grow.

The words to the song "Something Good" from Sound of Music come to my mind...
For here you are, standing there, loving me
Whether or not you should
So somewhere in my youth or childhood
I must have done something good

I know it's meant to be a romantic song, but I can't help but wonder at how lucky we are to have these wonderful ladies loving us like they do.

God has blessed us indeed...

We celebrated by going out to dinner - we let the girls choose, and they chose Outback - go figure.

So we had a bit of fun re-creating the day... On that special day in 2005, our Elli came walking in the room first - right to Daddy.Then Tori came strolling in - Mommy picked her right up. Tori looked at me for about three seconds and started crying, screaming & trying to get away from Mommy. We've come a long way, baby...A couple of pics of the happy sisters...And finally, our beautiful family. Thank you, God for bringing us together.
