What is the price for 15 extra minutes of peace?

In my case, about 57 baby wipes....I was finishing my cup of coffee this morning and heard this quiet "swish-swish-swish..." over the monitor. How bad can it be, I thought, no crashes, and no crying. I kept sipping. Ignorance is bliss.
